Using sound from in and around Rex, I’ve made a couple of soundscapes: One, a piece which takes you through the journey of a movie-goer; and the others, a stereotyped version of the different genres of movies which are played here.

‘The Ticking Epiphany’ is a series of 5 soundscapes which depict the fact that Rex Cinema will be wiped out soon and also the kind of movies that used to be played here are changing too. Sit back and take a look, or rather, listen to the endless transitions of a modern antique.
